This Red, White and Blue Sangria is super easy to make, full of fresh and delicious flavors, and the perfect drink to celebrate summer from the 4th of July to Labor Day!
4 C Seedless Watermelon Chunks
2 C Strawberries, sliced
1 C Blueberries
1 C Cherries, Pitted and Halved
1 Bottle Cabernet Sauvignon
1/4 C Granulated Sugar (Optional)
Cut the watermelon into chunks or use a small star cookie cutter.
Rinse the blueberries and drain well in a colander.
Wash and slice the strawberries.
Wash, pit, and halve the cherries.
Place all of the fruit into a large pitcher.
Pour the wine into the pitcher over the fruit.
If desired, add the sugar and stir well.
Add a couple of sprigs of fresh mint into the pitcher.
Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
To serve fill a glass with ice and using a ladle or large spoon scoop the fruit and wine and transfer to the glass of ice.
